Dr. Patel is a medical oncologist and Associate Professor, Director of the Uveal Melanoma Program, and Melanoma Fellowship Program Director at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. She specializes in the treatment of uveal, cutaneous, and mucosal melanoma. She also serves as Chair of the SWOG Cancer Research Network’s Melanoma Committee and was national study chair of the randomized phase 2 neoadjuvant trial S1801.
